Jackal and Panda accept Ferret/Sloth challenge

This past week has been quite volatile with the inner workings of tour players. Early season expectations and lack of rounds played has stirred up quite a fire storm within the new pairings of the Sloth/Ferret and Panda/Jackal.
With the usual poking and prodding from the Jackal/Panda combo towards the lack of commitment to the Chronicle by the Ferret, the two have envoked a epic tour challenge. With the early defeat of the Jackal/Panda, the pair didn't seemed to be bothered one bit. In fact, the two lashed out to get something out of the Ferret. Well, they got something that we think they were looking for....a challenge.
Without consulting the Sloth, the Ferret went right after the dynamic duo with shots directed mainly at the Panda and his apparent lack of wine knowledge. The challenge and we quote "With his new partner, Sloth, they will be a force to be reckoned with in team play and should be able to make their way through the clubhouse menu by early August leaving Panda and Jackal shaking the heads and trying to determine who was at fault this week.".
We caught up to the Panda and this is what he had to say; "Oh baby is this going to be fun this coming weekend. I like it when the high handicappers get a little cocky early in the season. Doesn't really change the fact that neither one of them could tell you which way the ball is going. I have always thought that maybe golf is more fun if every shot is a surprise." The Jackal followed up Panda's comments with this; "I was hoping to play captain oh my captain this Saturday but the Ferret quickly changed my mind. He wants a challenge well he has got one. Like Patton going through Europe, I personally am going to make it a mission to crush those two. As for enjoying things from the menu, it will be the Panda and myself feasting on free food and booze all summer long baby."
There you have it folks, the Panda and Jackal are gunning for the Sloth and Ferret. We assume that the Ferret will notify the Sloth of the challenge and get him ready with a lock down on martini's on Friday night.
Good luck players

The Ferret will wish he was in the Ardens getting shelled by 88's when this summer is over.

If my memory, history and Stephen Ambrose are correct, even with the 88's raining down, the Allies still came out victorious even though out-numbered and out-gunned...the Citizen Soldier was a scappy and determined bunch with a much bigger will to win. Over confidence and poor judgement eventually cost the Axis the war. The battles are won on the field, not in the press.

I beleive that the Jackal misspoke, shouldn't it be raining down 97's? To just break 100 and still come out guns blazing is truely remarkable and note worthy. The Axis lost the war but you will not have the advantage of the Russians on the 2nd front. You have a two toed Sloth with mitten hands on your 2nd front. The battle is won and lost on the field but if you don't plan you plan to fail.

Already second guessing his teammate...that's how it always begins.

Again with the WWII references from the ancient but proud Jackal. What unit was he in again? We salute our brave veterans.
History catalogues the decisive moments in the Ardennes in 1944 and 1945 as The Battle of the Bulge. In the summer of 2008, fans of the PanJack Tour will be following another Battle of the Bulge as The Great Panda attempts to maintain his new physique.
