In business news today, shares of Fortune Brands (NYSE symbol FO), parent company of golf ball manufacturer Titleist, shot up today on news of a 27 hole PanJack Tour event being played on Saturday at the venerable Fox Hollow Club. The market was abuzz with news that The Sloth will appear and be paired with The Ferret in an event called The Combination. It seems that analysts are optimistic that The Sloth will continue his play that has earned him the nickname “Double Dip”. One industry insider was quoted saying “The Sloth’s penchant for finding the water with his shorter clubs and his stubbornness in staying with the Pro V1, coupled with this event being a full 27 holes, makes this an investment opportunity I can’t pass up.”
