It appears that the management of the PanJack Tour is close to signing a contract with Fox Hollow to play the PanJack Tour, once again, at the venerable suedo links course that lacks rough, imagination, tournament formats or tee boxes that point down the fairway.
Tour leaders, F. N. Oak Panda (uncle of the Great Panda), Fing Fivehours (brother of the Jackal), Iwanna Chit (sister of the Ferrat) and I. Didntnotice Thepace (estranged wife of the Sloth) have been meeting in private this week to decide on format and venue for next season.
This reporter has learned that the committee is leaning towards renewing their contract with the Fox with the following conditions for next season:
1. Demand that the Panda and Jackal improve their play in the 4 ball Classic and get into the later rounds.
2. Increase the number of rounds all show up and play at the Fox or find a substitute venue for that particular week.
3. Play in enough rounds (5) during the year in order to maintain their club eligibility.
4. Make playing the "death march", known as the Club Championship, an option in the schedule.
The official contract is expected to be ratified during the off season with official events published in March of '09.

I think the tour has made a good decision on 2009. What they left out was how much booze each player was going to get. I thought that was a big part of the change.
