Thank you for the photo posts. How great to see the green grass of the Hallowed Fox. Clearly, the Sloth photo was digitally altered. No one could make contact with the ball from that position at the top. It was curious that no photos of the Great One were included. Probably a function of the old timers of the tour not being able or willing to operate those new-fangled devices. That, or the lack of a wide angle lens.
From previous posts, it seems that the Jackal and the Ferret are waking from their winter hibernation in an ornery mood. Their lack of employment must have blurred their vision when reading the Audacity of Hope that is all the rage today. The Sloth is doing his part to keep the economy afloat. Why, just the other day at a stoplight near his favorite off-sale establishment, he gave the $1.57 change left from the C- note he used to procure a rare Islay Single Malt to an enterprising, sign wielding citizen. As a bonus, he threw in one of his favorite cigars, which was conveniently pre-lit and well under half-used. The enterprising, sign wielding citizen was quite appreciative and waved vigorously as the Sloth pulled away; the cloth wrapping on his hand obscuring what certainly was the “thumbs up” sign.
In regards to The Tour; while there is obviously cause for major concern; The Sloth believes it is a bit pre-mature to throw in the towel. A change in format and venue? Worth considering. A complete dismantling? Hard to imagine. Real golf weather is a ways off. The heart of the season even farther away. The Jackal and the Ferret, while old, still have value to sponsors. Dare to Hope.
