Gentlemen, the first tournament is upon us. We are kicking off the season on the weekend of May 2nd or 3rd. The tournament chair will need the players feedback on which of the two days works best, then will make every effort to accommodate all those concerned. Please let the tournament director, Jackal (by virtue of his overwhelming win in the Masters Pool) know by the end of this week what your preference is. Following is the format and location:
Format: 4 Ball, Gross, Stroke Play
Venue: Baker National Golf Links
Event Fee (in addition to green fee) is $10. per team, to be paid at first tee. Winning team is awarded $5 per man at the conclusion of the event.
In addition there will be pay outs of $4. per team for birdies and $10. per team for eagles.
The event will be played from the men's tee's to accommodate this being the first event of the year.
The teams were chosen through a blind draw by the Accounting Firm of Earnst and Young and will be as follows:
Team #1: Jackal and Sloth
Team #2: Panda and Ferret
Please submit all questions, concerns and complaints to the Tournament Director no later than April 17th. We will make every effort to respond to your complaints no later than Tuesday June 30th 2009.

Sunday might be the best bet to get some sort of early tee time.
Ferret prepare for your 1st victory!
Either day...let me know as soon as you can. Lady Ferrett has to work that weekend and will schedule accordingly.
Panda...good attitude! I guarantee my game will improve from last year...
I only ask that the team of Ferret and Panda remain on the green and not drive the cart to the next tee box while my esteemed partner finishes lining up his putt!!
Thank you
Jackal
We are well aware of your partner's tendencies including "shot groove analysis"...our cart will be stocked with snacks, beverages, magazines, cigars and a DVD player. In addition, golf course marshals will be offering cots and wake-up calls if needed.
My business manager said that I have a photo shoot on the 2nd and it would be best if we played late morning into the afternoon.
Or what I like to call PPT (Perfect Panda Time)
