While the PanJack Tour marches forward this summer the Great Panda has been preparing for his upcoming hip replacement this fall. This writer had the privilege of spending a week with the Panda earlier this month and wants to report to his concerned fans that he is working hard to get ready for next year.
On July 1st the Panda flew to Kansas City with his personal trainer, Fred Yankme, to visit with Tom Watson and get his views on rehab and any swing changes he may need to make after surgery.
As prescribed by his physician, Dr. Rusty Crankjoint, the Pandress has been helping the Panda get the prescribed rest that is needed before the procedure.

As you can see by the picture below, the Panda has been working out the tissue surrounding the damaged hip by stretching on a custom made device built to strengthen the tissue around the joint.
It is apparent to this scribe that the "Great One" is doing everything he can to get himself ready for 2010. We will keep you fans informed as we get updates.

Dear Editor,
I did not authorize the use of those pictures. I do not find it fair and balanced when you put my wives furry naked body on the world wide web.
As for my glorious fans my surgery will be on December 21st 2009. I will be in the hospital for a couple days. Please send flowers and gifts of Jim Beam to Methodist Hospital.
I love all of my fans!
From the Managing Editor of the Chronicle:
Dear Panda,
In response to your charge of using unauthorized photos; we at the Chronicle flatly deny this accuasation.
The photo of your furry wife was taken off her FaceBook Page.
The photo from the plane was taken by an airline security camera and came into our possession through legal channels.
The picture of you working out was taken by your own mother and sent to us with the note "he is sooo cute"
We at the chronicle would never use unauthorized photos as this would be a violation of our journalistic integrity.
The staff at the Chronical wish you all the best in your surgery and subsequent recovery.
